Preschool Worksheets and Why We LOVE Them!

Our preschool worksheets provide playful opportunities to practice sorting and sequencing, fine motor skills, attention span, 1-1 correspondence, cutting and coloring, and visual discrimination.

Preschool worksheets get a bad reputation, but they are actually an excellent tool for young children's development when used correctly and in a play-based way. They help to improve hand-eye coordination, and cognitive abilities and the act of holding a pencil and writing (this includes doodles or scribbles) on paper helps children to develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Preschool worksheets also help to develop cognitive abilities such as memory and problem-solving skills. Children are encouraged to solve problems and answer questions. This helps to build their critical thinking skills and prepares them for future academic tasks.

HOWEVER... It is VERY important that these worksheets and activities are fun and engaging! ALL learning at this age should feel like PLAY! We believe in play-based learning, which is why ALL of our educational preschool worksheets and activities are fun, interactive and play-based. We focus on topics and include visuals that kids love like dinosaurs, unicorns, and cars! This can help to foster a love of learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Our printable preschool activities and worksheets are designed to build those necessary preschool skills required for kindergarten. Our activities provide endless fun and creativity for children to do with their caregiver! The process of doing these activities together and spending quality time nourishing the minds of children is alone worth the investment!

Our expanding library of classes include topics like: Numbers, Shapes, Alphabet, Colors, Feelings, Rhyming, Weather, Prepositions, Questions, Body Parts, Opposites, Back to School, Visual Perception and more. And we have printable PDFs available for each of our topics!
